nuranar: Hortense Bonaparte. La reine Hortense sous une tonnelle à Aix-les-Bains (1813) by Antoine Jean Duclaux. (Regency)
After being poked by [livejournal.com profile] fancyfrocks, here's a bit of info on the dress I made for the guild's Georgian Picnic. WHILE moving, working, rehearsing, reenacting, etc. First post here!

A tale... of some failure, but mostly success. )

This is my favorite picture of the whole event. [livejournal.com profile] jenthompson and I watching the kite actually staying up in the air.  She edited out the cars that were originally in the picture, and the whole thing looks like a watercolor. I love it.

My church's yearly Christmas Cantata takes place this Sunday, and I will be singing in the choir again. If you're interested, all three services/performances will be streamed live again:

http://ccbc.rbm.tv/

The times are:

9:15 AM
11:00 AM
5:00 PM
(all CST, which I believe is -8 GMT)

According to the seating chart at present, I will be in the women's section to the viewer's right (soprano), second row from the top/back, and right next to the men. As far to the left in the right section, if that makes sense.

Oh, and if you happen to hear any really high notes (over the orchestra, which I admit is unlikely)... I'm responsible. Yikes!
