Swiped from Everybody and his dog:

1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 23.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next three sentences in your journal along with these instructions.
5. Don't dig for your favorite book, the cool book, or the intellectual one: pick the CLOSEST.

I'm glad I didn't do this when I had 50+ sci fi books spread in ever-widening circles around me. That would've been an exercise in geometry.

Hello :) I'm sorry to intrude on your journal, but I didn't know how else to get a hold of you. You left a comment for me at pinup_stillness and asked if you could use two of my icons. I received your comment in e-mail, but can't reply to it at the community, since it was screened.

Thank you very much for your permission, and thank you for the link to your icon journal. I especially liked the cropping you used on your icons. I much prefer to see a whole face or even a portrait than just a chin and jawline! :p Keep up the good work!
