Chris, have you read Breakheart Pass yet?

It's got an amazing tie-in to another favorite fandom of ours.  That's all I'm going to say about that for now.

Yes, I just finished it yesterday! The book was an enjoyable read, but I would not consider it much of a western story. It seemed a though a typical MacClean story with all of the usual twists and turns was picked up and thrown into a western setting. The combination of the two elements gave it a very familiar feel :-D I think that is what you are getting at but I won't say anymore in case you haven't finished reading it yet... :) Lets just say that it's near the top of my MacClean favorites now.
