I don't think I'd go for it, but if you're in love with the combination, I don't think it's a bad one.

Not necessarily in love with it. I've had the camlet on my mind for two years now, and then saw the stripe and was struck by how similar the colors were. This is still just thinking; I have little need for more 18th century at the moment. I just don't want to go off the tracks, like with my idea for linen as a visible petticoat under the indienne.

(Shoes ordered now!)
