One of the biggest ones we've had in years, and this is an area that specializes in them.  I think the freezing rain has turn to sleet by now; and at 28*, projected to fall to 24* by morning, none of that frozen stuff is going anywhere.  It was drizzling all day, just enough to form ice on windshields, but we got home from work just fine. It didn't start really coming down until after 6 pm.  Fort Worth police have reported 400 accidents today, most of them after 6 pm.

Since it's shaping up to be one of the Nastiest Commutes Ever in the morning, Dad and I are going to sleep in. Instead of leaving at 6:45, we'll assess at 8 am.  It's nice to be safe and warm inside... I just hope the ice doesn't get heavy enough to break trees and power lines like in Oklahoma.  It shouldn't, but there's always the risk.
