1. Christmas luncheon for work at the Reata in downtown Fort Worth. Yum!

2. A "spot award" at work. Yay!

3. Bro. No. 1 calling to invite me to go see the Hobbit on Friday night. I hadn't gotten an invitation from anyone else, and hadn't gotten my own group together, so I had no plans to go until then. Whoop!

4. Interesting "coincidence" last night. I was sort of thinking I needed to actually work out on the elliptical last evening, and knew I needed to stop sewing by 9:00 so I wouldn't be up too late. Of course I got into my sewing and was weakly succumbing to temptation to ignore the work out yet again. But the DVD ended exactly when I reached a major stopping point, and BOTH exactly at 9:00.  So I made lots of wry faces and hied myself obediently to the elliptical. :D

Congrats on the award!

Hope you enjoy the movie. :) I'll be interested in hearing whether you liked it - I've had mixed feelings about seeing it myself, since I enjoy the book and don't want to ruin it.
