I don't know how they're playing! The falling snow alone is so heavy it's hard to see anything, much less a football in the air. (They're still making completions!) But even funnier, it's only the end of the first quarter and snow is several inches deep on the field. There was a fumble and the ball almost got lost and buried. And when anyone falls or is tackled face-down, his helmet face mask gets literally FULL of snow! They can't remove their helmets on the field, so some of them shake it out, but at least one had to go to the sidelines to clear it out. Insane and hilarious!

Oh, even though I hate football, I'm sorry I missed that! It sounds like it would have been a scream. :D

Back in spring, there was a World Cup qualifying soccer game between USA and Costa Rica. In Denver... in a 28-degree blizzard. We actually caught most of that on tape; it was both hysterical and amazing. They nearly stopped the game just after the start of the second half, but the players--even the losing Costa Ricans--talked the officials into letting them finish! (One of the most hilarious moments was the capacity crowd chanting "Sho-VEL! Sho-VEL!" as the grounds crew tried frantically to clear the field. *snork*)
